PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS

• Cards are printed on a 5 color offset Komori press- not on a digital press.
• Card stock is 12 pt. Cornwall, and coated both sides (you can write on the back)
• We UV coat the front, thus giving your cards a glossy beautiful finish..
• Cards are printed on a Friday to Friday basis from a digital file ready for print.
• Cards needing setup or drum-scanning for artwork, slides, transparencies, and photos must be received by Wednesday the latest to make it for the Friday print run.  All graphics must be 300dpi for final print size.
• In Quark-Xpress, when using TIFFS, no picture boxes should have a fill of none.  Picture boxes with a fill of none can be used with Vector Art or a Photoshop EPS with a clipping path.
• Do not use hairlines, all lines must be a minimum of 0.5 point width.
• We highly recommend if you use borders that they be at least 1/4" thick.  Cutter may shift up to 1/16" which is very noticeable on thin borders.
• Set all type at least 1/8" from the final trim size of your card.
• For black text on a light background use 100% Black only!
• To get a rich SOLID BLACK BACKGROUND, we recommend your black be composed of: 80% Cyan, 80% Magenta, 80% Yellow, 100% Black... (NOTE 100% Black)

LAST MINUTE REMINDERS
• For an accurate color proof one must be made from film, color copies, dye subs,
• Files received by one Friday are ready the following Friday for shipping. 
• Reserve space early in the week as our flats tend to fill up by Friday by completing our order form and submitting it to us.
